Bobby Berk shares cryptic message about ‘choosing peace’ as ‘Queer Eye’ cast rift continues

Bobby Berk shared a cryptic social media message as the “Queer Eye” cast rift widened.

“Choosing peace comes with a lot of goodbyes, but I will continue to choose peace every time,” Berk wrote atop a video of himself in a snowsuit, walking along a snow-covered path.

He added a red heart emoji to the sentiment, and captioned the upload, “Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend 🫶.”

The “Queer Eye” alum — who appeared on the show from 2018 to 2023 — also plugged his HGTV show“Junk or Jackpot?”

Berk’s former co-star Karamo Brown sparked rumors of a cast feud after pulling out of several talk show appearances alongside “Queer Eye” castmates Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski and Jeremiah Brent on Tuesday.

In a statement to “Today with Jenna & Sheinelle,” Brown wrote in part that he felt “mentally and emotionally abused for years,” and skipped out on the joint interviews because his therapist told him “to protect himself and his peace.”

“CBS Mornings” host Gayle King also read a letter from Brown during one of his missed interviews, explaining his decision to ditch the appearances.

“I hope everyone remembers the main theme I have tried to teach them over the past decade, which is to focus on and to protect their mental health/peace from people or a world who seek to destroy it; which is why I can’t be there today,” it read.

An insider subsequently alleged to TMZthat an incident occurred during filming that resulted in Brown’s decision to pull out of the interviews.

Per the outlet, Brown’s mom was on set and overheard them talking about Karamo and she let him know.

Brown has since unfollowed France, Van Ness and Porowski on social media.

Berk — who previously shared an evasive message on Wednesday reading, “How’s everyone’s week going?!” — also supported Brown in the comments thread of a post shared on Thursday.

“What was your storm that actually ended up clearing your path?” Brown wrote alongside several portraits of himself, with Berk responding, “🫶🏼♥”

Reps for Brown, Berk, France, Porowski and Van Ness did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment on Friday.

After exiting “Queer Eye” in 2023, Berk claimed a conflict with Van Ness“for the most part” had nothing to do with his departure.

“There was a situation, and that’s between Tan and I, and it has nothing to do with the show,” Berk said in a 2024 interview with Vanity Fair.

He added, “It was something personal that had been brewing — and nothing romantic, just to clarify that.”

Berk shared that despite the incident, he could “foresee in six months or a year, Tan and I at each other’s house being good.”
