Ain’t no stopping them.
Victoria and David Beckham returned to social media just days after their eldest son’s scathing statement, in which he accused them of controlling him.
The couple — who have been married since 1999 — each took to Instagram on Wednesday to celebrate their friends’ birthdays.
Victoria, 51, shared several throwback snaps with Emma Lee Bunton, aka Baby Spice, to celebrate the latter’s 50th birthday.

In one snap, Posh Spice carried Baby Spice on her back, captioning the photo, “Happy birthday, I love you so much!”
She also shared a video of her former Spice Girls bandmate singing their 1996 hit song “Say You’ll Be There,” which she captioned, “Happy birthday Baby, Kisses xxx.”
Victoria also promoted her son Cruz’s sold-out show in The Courtyard Theater in London on March 27.

Her husband, on the other hand, was celebrating two of his former Manchester United teammates: Nicky Butt and Phil Neville.
The former soccer player, 50, shared several throwback photos of his days in the team, celebrating the “birthday boys.”
David and Victoria seemingly chose to take the high road just two days after their 26-year-old son, Brooklyn, shared a scathing Instagram post against them.

After months of feud rumors, the photographer-turned-chef stated that he did “not want to reconcile with [his] family.”
“I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.”
He continued, “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family [with] performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships. … Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade.”

He went on to accuse his parents of trying to sabotage their relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz, 31. He also claimed that Victoria cancelled making Peltz’s wedding dress at “the eleventh hour,” as well as “hijacked” their first dance.
“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me,” he recalled. “She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everybody. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”
Brooklyn also claimed that their family‘s “love [is] decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.”

He also shut down the notion that his wife controls him, saying the notion is “completely backward.”
Shortly after his statement went viral, many people began to choose sides, with a wedding guest saying he believed Brooklyn and Peltz.
Stavros Agapiou — the partner of British DJ Fat Tony, who performed at Peltz and Brooklyn’s wedding reception — claimed via Instagram, “I was there and she did he’s telling the truth.”
Sources later told Page Six that the former Spice Girls singer “nuzzled” into her son’s neck during the “hijacked” dance. However, the insider shut down the fact that it was the couple’s first dance.
“It was meant to be the big romantic first dance,” said a second wedding insider. “It was pre-determined specifically for Nicola and Brooklyn.”

Instead, Marc Anthony, a longtime pal of the Beckham family, called Brooklyn up to dance with “the most beautiful woman in the room” — not the new bride, but Victoria.
The first guest told Page Six that Victoria “got up on stage and wrapped her arms around Brooklyn” and “nuzzled into his neck.”
“She was dancing with him very inappropriately. She took that moment from Nicola, that is the God’s truth.”
The guest added, “Nicola ran out crying. The Beckhams’ side of the room was cheering and the Peltz side was quiet.

Victoria and David have yet to address Brooklyn’s statement directly.
Brooklyn tied the knot with Peltz in 2022, which is when tensions between the couple and his family grew.
The two went on to renew their vows in August 2025.
