Hilary Duff reveals feud details with sister Haylie in emotional new song ‘We Don’t Talk’

Her lips aren’t sealed anymore.

Hilary Duff appeared to give rare insight into her alleged feud with sister Haylie Duff in an emotional new song “We Don’t Talk.”

During the “Lizzie McGuire” alum’s first “Small Rooms, Big Nerves” show at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Monday, she seemingly extended an olive branch to her older sibling while singing on a yellow couch.

“We come from the same home, the same blood,” the former Disney Channel star, 38, crooned, later sharing a wish to “get back to how we were as kids.”

She proposed, “Let’s have it out / I’ll hear you out, you’ll hear me out on the couch. … Let’s break it down / So sick of being so sad about / How we don’t talk and you won’t talk about it.”

Hilary, who admitted to hating the rift, sang that she isn’t “sure what happened” to cause an estrangement.

“Not even sure what it was about,” she belted out. “If I did something different / Would you feel something different? / Would you at least let me hear you out?”

Hilary, who sampled Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” in the song, speculated, “If it’s ’cause you’re jealous / God knows I would sell it all, then break you off the bigger half.”

X users praised the “Younger” alum’s transparency, with one writing, “This is so damn relatable and I am CRYING. I just want to hug her.”

Others urged the sisters to “pick up a phone” and “hash out” their differences.

Reps for Hilary and Haylie did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

While teasing her upcoming album “Luck… or Something” in November 2025, Hilary hinted to Rolling Stone that she would address “family drama” in her new music.

The “How I Met Your Father” alum, who did not dive into specifics in last year’s interview, has not been pictured with Haylie, 40, since 2019.

The “7th Heaven” actress, notably, made headlines earlier this month for “liking” Ashley Tisdale’s promo for her scathing essay in the Cut exposing her “toxic” mom group — which included Hilary.

The sisters have not appeared to interact with each other on social media in years, and Haylie has yet to acknowledge Hilary’s return to music for the first time in a decade.

During Monday’s concert, she performed her new songs alongside old hits, from “Come Clean” and “Beat of My Heart” to “Metamorphosis” and “Fly.”

“When we started rehearsing for the tour, this felt so far away and now it’s real and way beyond my imagination,” the “Cinderella Story” star gushed. “Thank you, guys, for showing up for me. I keep saying that over and over again, but I mean it.

“It’s so amazing to get to play old songs and connect on that level and see you all again and then share songs from ‘Luck… or Something,’” she continued. “It really means a lot to be able to play these new songs in this setting. I hope you’re loving the new and the old.”

Hilary released the first single off the record, “Mature,” in November 2025, followed by “Roommates,” which features racy lyrics about hookups in the “back of a dive bar.”

Her husband, Matthew Koma, produced “Luck… or Something” and co-wrote many of the songs.

The couple wed in 2019 and have three daughters together — Banks, 7, Mae, 4, and Townes, 1 — as well as Hilary’s 13-year-old son, Luca, from her previous marriage to Mike Comrie.

Haylie, for her part, is the mother of daughters Ryan and Lulu with husband Matt Rosenberg.
