Celebs pick sides in the Beckham family feud: Bethenny Frankel, Lily Allen and more

Brooklyn Beckham’s feud with his famous family just took a dramatic turn, with the photographer lashing out at his family in a lengthy social media rant on Jan. 19 — and stars are taking notice.

In a headline-making bombshell statement, Brooklyn, 26, blamed the family rift on their alleged treatment of his wife, Nicola Peltz — which he claimed began before they tied the knot in Florida back in April 2022.

Almost immediately, the statement — in which Brooklyn accused mom and dad David and Victoria Beckham of trying to “ruin [his] relationship since before [his] wedding” and controlling “narratives in the press about [their] family” — drew the attention of celebrities.

While some have expressed sympathy for Brooklyn and his model wife, 31, others have accused the chef of abandoning his family loyalties and fumbling priorities.

Others have simply encouraged all parties involved to mend fences and reconcile.

From Lily Allen to Bethenny Frankel and beyond, Page Six is breaking down which side they’re taking.

“Real Housewives of New York” alum Bethenny Frankel questioned the wisdom in airing such personal information in a social media upload shared hours after Brooklyn’s scathing screed.

“He adores his wife,” the Bravo star said of Brooklyn via Instagram on Jan. 20, noting that “family drama is not unique.”

The reality star sympathized with Brooklyn’s need to get his “side of the story out,” but pointed out that his statement had further inflamed an already explosive situation.

“Now it’s become everyone’s business,” Frankel said in part.

“And if you don’t have a ton of experience with the media, you don’t realize that just saying your piece and thinking it’s going to land — it might not land.”

“And there’s usually no upside in taking bait, though sometimes it’s really tempting,” she continued.

While Frankel acknowledged that the public feud provokes the question of whether blood “is thicker than water,” she also wondered if the “juice [was] worth the squeeze” in Brooklyn’s case.

Frankel expressed sympathy for everyone involved, but ultimately concluded that “to try to make things clean and nice is better than complete discord.”

Peltz’s former hairstylist sided with Victoria and David in a scathing social media commenton a Best of Bravo post on Jan. 19.

“Brooklyn’s wife was one of the worst ‘celebs’ i’ve ever worked with. it’s her,” he wrote, calling the model a “baddddd apple.”

“Everyone knows how close the Beckham family really is…” he continued.

Via Instagram Stories, the hairstylist wrote that he “perked up when I saw [Nicola and Brooklyn] were getting married. I’m like ‘oh gosh this is not going to be good for that family.’ Spooky energy.”

“I don’t even feel bad saying that,” he added. “When someone is not nice it always comes out. You can’t hide that.”

Anderson worked with Peltz back in 2014 on the “Transformers: Age of Extinction” press tour.

But an insider told Page Six on Jan. 20 that “Nicola has never had a negative altercation with Justin directly” and noted that she was “barely 18 years old the last time she and Justin worked together.”

Facialist Keren Bartov took to Instagram Stories on Jan. 20, and without mentioning Brooklyn’s statement, openly supported the former Spice Girl.

“I highly recommend that you all watch Victoria Beckham’s show,” she wrote atop a clip of the eponymous docuseries.

“A woman who achieved tremendous success, an inspiring woman, and most importantly — an amazing woman who is kind hearted and gracious!”

Bartov tagged the fashion designer and added a white heart emoji to the upload.

Comedian Katherine Ryan, meanwhile, didn’t mince words during a Jan. 20 appearance on her “Telling Everybody Everything” podcast.

“I am on David and Victoria’s side,” she said. “As a parent, and as someone who has been a s–tty young person, I think Brooklyn Beckham needs to grow up a little bit.”

She noted that Brooklyn comes from “an absolute dynasty family,” which in itself “comes with many privileges.”

“I feel that he has benefited from this a lot and he doesn’t seem to have the measured emotional intelligence to go, ‘In many ways, this has been s–t, but in many ways, this has created me with a beautiful life,’” she said.

Ryan said she felt “nepo babies” sometimes “struggle with not being able to reach” their parents’ level of success.

She said Brooklyn’s “rich boy” ventures — including stints in photography, cooking and modeling, had been “fueled and spearheaded” by his famous parents.

“I’m not seeing any of the gratitude in these posts,” she said.

David Beckham’s alleged former mistress, Rebecca Loos, supported Brooklyn by responding to a fan comment encouraging her to read his statement.

“So happy he is standing up for himself and speaking publicly finally!!!! I have felt so bad for his poor wife, knowing too well what they can be like!” she wrote.

“Beneath a comment reading, “Fascinating admission from Brooklyn,” Loos also wrote, “The truth always comes out,” alongside a red heart emoji.

Brian Austin Green’s ex Vanessa Marcil — who once claimed Green had no contact with his eldest son, Kassius amid his former marriage to Megan Fox — took to Instagram Stories on Jan. 19 to voice her support for Brooklyn.

“Brooklyn Beckham is individuating,” she wrote atop an inspiring snapshot of a sunset.

“It’s developmentally completely normal and healthy. Brave kid ❤.”

Lily Allen seemingly voted for team Brooklyn and Nicola by sharing fan art of the aspiring chef in the form to her Instagram Stories on Jan. 19, adding her hit “West End Girl” to the slide.

She credited digital media artist Glassface in the upload.

It’s unclear if the hitmaker personally knows Brooklyn — but her song is known for airing her own personal grievances regarding her ill-fated marriage to her estranged husband, “Stranger Things” star David Harbour.

Former Manchester United soccer star — and former teammate of David Beckham — John O’Kane publicly sided with the Beckhams’ eldest son in a series of X posts on Jan. 19.

“I lived with Beckham for few years.. Let’s just say he likes to be in TOTAL CONTROL and was OBSESSIVE on PERFECTION,” he wrote, alongside screenshots of Brooklyn’s lengthy statement.

“If it took Brooklyn to say this and burn down the so-called perfect family. Brand Beckham should not come before your kids no matter what has happened!!”

In another post, he acknowledged that his upload had “popped off” and generated a heated social media discussion.

“A few things clear, Becks controlling/ OCD obsessiveness made him the footballer he was imo.. But whatever has happened with his son, he felt he had to say something .. and I STILL believe you do not disown your own children no matter what ! But that’s just me.”

A day later, on Jan. 20, O’Kane appeared to encourage father and son to mend their widening rift.

“You have 1 first born, and the bond should be unbreakable! I’m thinking Becks and Son are very alike STUBBORN to the core,” he wrote alongside a throwback photo of David kneeling on the field with Brooklyn as a toddler. “

“You bury it and make up !” he added.
