Teyana Taylor, George Clooney and Jacob Elordi Toast the Golden Globes

On Sunday night, Teyana Taylor posed for photographs in a hallway at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, where the 83rd Golden Globe Awards had just ended.

“I love you!” a fan called to Ms. Taylor, who had just won best supporting actress for her role in “One Battle After Another.”

After years of weathering scandals and being viewed as the punchline of awards season, the Globes, which honors the best in film and television, seems to have earned audiences back with funny hosts and free-flowing drinks.

The night’s big winners included “One Battle After Another,” which also snagged the evening’s top prize in the comedy category, as well as awards for its screenplay and director, Paul Thomas Anderson. Honors also went to “Sinners,” “The Pitt,” “Hacks,” “Adolescence” and the animated megahit “KPop Demon Hunters.”

After the ceremony, few stars lingered at the Beverly Hilton, instead scattering to parties around Los Angeles. At the Maybourne Hotel in Beverly Hills, Emma Stone and the cast of “Hamnet” held court. Nearby at Spago, Netflix hosted a party so crowded that, as Adam Sandler tried to navigate the crowd, he stumbled over an ottoman and nearly fell into Natasha Lyonne’s banquette.

Elsewhere in the restaurant, Jacob Elordi and Ana de Armas were deep in conversation, Zoey Deutch and Malin Akerman danced to Abba, and Colman Domingo worked the room in a silver-sequined zip-up jacket.

Though the Netflix event drew stars from rival streamer Apple TV, including the “Severance” actors Adam Scott, Britt Lower and Tramell Tillman, major stars from Warner Bros. Discovery films like Leonardo DiCaprio (“One Battle After Another”), Michael B. Jordan (“Sinners”) and Amy Madigan (“Weapons”) were notably not in attendance. (Netflix is currently seeking to buy a large portion of the studio for $83 billion.)

Still, the Netflix party went on for hours, ultimately building to an enthusiastic dance to the Globe-winning song “Golden” from “KPop Demon Hunters,” which drew the film’s performers and songwriters to the dance floor.

In West Hollywood, black cars and paparazzi lined up outside the Chateau Marmont, where several companies were holding events. Warner Bros. was stationed at Bar Marmont, a separate building on the property, and A24 had a gathering in the hotel lobby.

“I’m trying to find Leo,” one guest said as he peered into the bustling A24 event through a window.

(Around that time, Mr. DiCaprio and his “One Battle After Another” co-star Benicio del Toro were upstairs, at the Creative Artists Agency party in the penthouse.)

Outside, the faces of some of HBO Max’s most popular shows sipped cocktails in the Chateau’s lush garden. Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, the stars of “Heated Rivalry” and two of the ceremony’s most eagerly anticipated presenters, arrived early in the night, snapping a photo with Casey Bloys, the chairman and chief executive of HBO and HBO Max content.

Recent guests of “The White Lotus,” including Natasha Rothwell, Parker Posey and Lisa, as well as the show’s creator, Mike White, mingled alongside the “Hacks” star Jean Smart, who won best actress in a television series, musical or comedy.

In the garden, Noah Wyle, who won best actor for his role on “The Pitt,” and his wife, Sara Wells celebrated his win and her birthday at a table with friends.

“I feel like the lowest rung on a totem pole that extends way beyond my head tonight,” said Mr. Wyle, who said he spent the night chatting with many of his favorite actors.

“We’ve now raised the bar on my wife’s birthday,” he added. “She expects this every year.”
