A man was slashed in the face in Times Square early Wednesday morning, according to police, who said two of the three assailants got away.
The 30-year-old man was slashed in the face and stabbed back by the violent trio near 40th Street and 7th Avenue around 1:50 a.m., according to police. It’s unclear if the attack was random or targeted.
The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to Bellevue hospital in stable condition, cops said.

Two of the suspects fled on foot southbound on 7th Avenue.
Police confirmed they have one person of interest in custody, though no charges have been filed.
Investigators are still working to determine what led to the attack.
