CARACAS, Venezuela — President Donald Trump on Sunday threatened Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, saying that “if she doesn’t do what’s right, she is going to pay a very big price, probably bigger than [Nicolás] Maduro.” The deposed leader is expected to be arraigned at noon Monday in Manhattan, a person with knowledge of the planning told The Washington Post. Trump’s comments in an interview with the Atlantic came a day after he said the United States will “run” Venezuela for an unspecified period. Rodríguez, a Maduro loyalist, has strongly condemned Trump’s actions. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Sunday that the U.S. will use its oil embargo as leverage.
