Elon Musk’s chatbot Grok deleted President Donald Trump from a photo of him and former President Joe Biden when publicly asked to remove the man “regarded as one of the worst presidents of all time.”
Chris D. Jackson, a political strategist, former elected official, and Democratic Party leader known for his vehement support for Biden, trolled Musk and MAGA Republicans on Friday using the tech billionaire’s own platform.
“Hey @grok, remove the man who is regarded as one of the worst presidents of all time,” he instructed the chatbot in a public post to X. Attached to the post was a photo of the two men walking side by side.
In response, Grok removed Trump from the photo, leaving just a grinning Biden behind.
“How it started – how it’s going,” Jackson gloated, sharing a side by side photo of the prompt and answer.
Internet users laughed at the troll, which played on a recent trend of influencers asking Grok to remove things from photos.
“LOL, well played, Chris. Glad I’m still seeing your tweets… sometimes. Mostly, all I get is right wing slop. I don’t follow ANY of them, get all their tweets,” wrote social media influencer Majid M. Padellan, better known by his online handle Brooklyn Dad Defiant.
Other commenters reacted with AI photos of a smiling Biden while others shared GIFs of Ray Liotta’s iconic laughing scene from the film, “Goodfellas.”
