Ex-Trump ally suggests president’s voters are planning a group government strike

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) speculated on X that vast numbers of Trump supporters will simply refuse to pay their taxes this year.

“Almost every Trump voter I see on X is so fed up they are planning a 2026 tax revolt. And rightfully so!” wrote Greene. “It’s because Americans work their a—- off, barely make ends meet, and the government consistently gives their hard earned tax dollars to foreign countries, foreign wars, and foreigners the U.S. government has brought/allowed into America! And NOTHING is given to Americans!!!”

“We have nearly $40 Trillion in debt, unaffordable healthcare, unaffordable housing, and the dollar loses value every day,” she continued. “Meanwhile the government, NO MATTER WHICH PARTY IS IN CHARGE, screws over Americans. What will it take to put the American people first???”

This comes after the GOP passed Trump’s tax cut megabill, with Greene’s vote, that adds trillions of dollars in debt while slashing health care and food assistance.

Greene’s manifesto also comes as she is increasingly on the outs with the rest of the MAGA movement, having criticized President Donald Trump on a number of issues ranging from health care to the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking case files.

Trump, for his part, has increasingly attacked Greene, and an explosive report earlier this week revealed that he blew up at her in private over the Epstein files, saying he couldn’t invite Epstein’s victims to the White House to tell their stories in full because “my friends will get hurt.”
