Teyana Taylor and Aaron Pierre have split up after less than a year of dating, sources exclusively tell Page Six.
The breakup news comes after unconfirmed rumors began popping up online that they’d parted.
The reason behind the split is unclear, but sources say they have gone their separate ways.
Taylor is up for a Golden Globeas Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her latest film, “One Battle After Another.” Pierre’s upcoming projects include the next “Star Wars” movie, “Star Wars: Starfighter,” with Ryan Gosling, as well as the upcoming DC Studios and HBO series, “Lanterns.”
Taylor, who also stars in Ryan Murphy’s Kim Kardashian series “All’s Fair,” and Pierre, who starred in last year’s “Mufasa: The Lion King,” first sparked dating rumors earlier this year when they both attended the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in Los Angeles in February.
Soon after, the couple was together at the Vanity Fair Oscar party, and Pierre popped up in a trailer for Taylor’s 2025 album, “Escape Room,” in which the two shared a steamy kiss.
By June, they’d made things Instagram official, as the saying goes, when Taylor posted a sweet tribute to Pierre to mark his 31st birthday — and a subsequent roundup of photos from his bday bash.
The couple then attended the BET Awards in LA together, and Taylor, 35, told Complex in an interview of her younger beau, “He’s very gentle… It allows me to feel warm and to feel safe and not be in survival mode.”
Pierre subsequently participated in a panel discussion for Taylor’s album launch, saying, “I’m sure everybody knows this, but I’ve got to say it, Teyana is really one of one,” and the duo cutely even started wearing matching outfits to events promoting the project.
But while Pierre was with Taylor on the red carpet for the London premiere of her latest film, “One Battle After Another,” it seems the sweet romance has ended.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in early November, Taylor referred to Pierre as, “my apple pie,”adding, “we are each other’s safe space” — but said of the boyfriend label, “If that’s something that I decide to say, then it’s going to be something that we say together.”
The break-up comes as Taylor — who was married to former NBA star Iman Shumpert from 2016 to 2024 and had a contentious divorce— is about to be a fixture on the awards circuit, with a Golden Globes nom and serious Oscar buzz.
Reps for the stars did not get back to us.
