Ian Ziering’s 2023 biker brawl has come back to haunt him two years later.
The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum has been accused of battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, malicious prosecution, negligence and negligent infliction of emotional distress, according to People.
The outlet reported on Monday that Jacob Hernandez recently filed a civil complaint against the actor over a headline-making road rage incident in 2023.
The plaintiff claimed he and a friend, both on motorbikes, stopped in front of Ziering’s braked Mercedes in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve.
The duo allegedly were “not impeding the flow of traffic in any way, specifically not the Mercedes’, as no traffic was moving.”
Hernandez claimed Ziering got out of the car and, “completely unprompted,” pushed him, injuring both him and damaging his bike.
He added that a subsequent “melee occurred between [Ziering] and multiple individuals who came to the aid of [Hernandez].”
Not only did Hernandez allege that “[Ziering’s] actions were intentional, unnecessary, and posed a foreseeable risk of physical and emotional harm,” he slammed the “Swamp Thing” star for giving allegedly “misleading information to law enforcement,” leading to Hernandez’s May 2024 arrest.
Hernandez, whose family posted a $50,000 bail at the time, believes he has “had his name negatively plastered” by Ziering on social media and in interviews.
He is seeking compensatory and punitive damages, as well as a trial by jury.
Ziering’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Footage of the altercation with the 605 minibike gang went viral in January 2024, from the damage to Ziering’s car to him consoling his crying daughter, Mia.
The “Sharknado” star addressed the “alarming” incident in an Instagram statement at the time.
“While stuck in traffic, my car was approached aggressively by one of these riders leading to an unsettling confrontation,” he claimed. “In an attempt to assess any damage I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself.
“I am relieved to report that my daughter and I are both completely unscathed, but the incident has left me deeply concerned about the growing boldness of such groups who disrupt public safety and peace,” Ziering continued.
Days later, a video surfaced showing that Ziering was the first to get physical during the brawl.
Hernandez and Angie Tereza Guizar were arrested four months later over felony vandalism and assault with a deadly weapon charges.
The former wrote in his civil complaint that he was told during his June 2024 arraignment that there wasn’t a criminal case against him.
