Disgraced ex-Prince Andrew’s daughters show united front with royals at Christmas church service: photos

The royals decked the halls.

On Dec. 25, King Charles, Queen Camilla and the rest of the royal family attended their customary Christmas Day church service at Sandringham. The queen wore an eye-catching festive red coat and hat.

Prince William and Kate Middleton were also in attendance, along with their three kids:  Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.

Notably, Princess Beatrice, 37, and Princess Eugenie, 35, were also in attendance, putting on stiff smiles without their disgraced parents, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

After the service at St Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk, the royal family strolled around greeting the crowds. The children accepted gifts from well-wishers, while a post cancer-battle Kate Middleton looked vibrant as she greeted crowds. The always stylish royal wore a long plaid brown coat and matching hat.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugene showed a united front, after their disgraced father got stripped of his title.

Spending Christmas at Sandringham estate has been the royal family tradition since 1988.

The festive outing came after another year marked by significant ups and downs for the royal family.

Kate, who was diagnosed with cancer in January 2024, started 2025 off by announcing that she was in remission.

The Princess of Wales, 43, shared the happy news during a surprise visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital in London on Jan. 14.

“It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery,” she wrote on social media a few months after completing her chemotherapy treatments in September 2024.

However, Kate was not the only royal to share some welcome news regarding their cancer journey this year.

King Charles, who announced his diagnosis in February 2024, revealed that he would be scaling back his treatment plan in an emotional update during Channel 4’s annual Stand Up To Cancer broadcast earlier this month.

“Today, I am able to share with you the good news that thanks to early diagnosis, effective intervention and adherence to doctors’ orders, my own schedule of cancer treatment can be reduced in the New Year,” the 77-year-old monarch said.

Meanwhile, this year also saw the Prince and Princess of Wales move into a new home with their three kids.

Although the family lived in Adelaide Cottage for nearly three years, they relocated to Forest Lodge in early November.

“Windsor has become their home,” a royal insider shared shortly before the move. “However, over the last few years, while they have lived at Adelaide Cottage, there have been some really difficult times.”

The source added, “Moving gives them an opportunity for a fresh start and a new chapter; an opportunity to leave some of the more unhappy memories behind.”

But while the royal family experienced some exciting developments during 2025, they also suffered their share of heartbreak and drama.

Rosie Roche, Prince William and Prince Harry’s cousin, tragically passed away on July 14 at the age of 20.

Queen Elizabeth’s cousin-in-law, Katharine, Duchess of Kent, then died on Sept. 4 at 92.

Katharine, who was married to the late monarch’s cousin, Prince Edward, was laid to rest on Sept. 16 following a funeral service at Westminster Cathedral.

King Charles attended the emotional ceremony alongside Prince William and Kate, as well as the former Prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.

Queen Camilla missed the service due to illness, as did Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle.

Less than two months after the Duchess of Kent’s passing, Andrew was officially stripped of his royal titles and booted from his Royal Lodge residence due to his association with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

King Charles started the process to remove Andrew of his Duke of York and other titles on Oct. 30.

“His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement. “Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.”

“His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence,” the Palace continued. “Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.”

As for Prince Harry, his and his wife’s estrangement from the rest of the royal family largely continued throughout the year – although he and King Charles did share a short reunion in September.

The pair met for nearly an hour at the monarch’s Clarence House residence in London on Sept. 10, marking their first time seeing each other face-to-face since February 2024.

Harry and the former actress last attended a UK Christmas service with the royals in 2018.
