NJ maniac killed random stranger with bow and arrow before fiery, hours-long standoff with cops: video

A New Jersey maniac who allegedly killed a man with a bow and arrow before barricading himself inside a home in an hours-long standoff with cops had targeted an innocent father in the seemingly random murder — and the dad’s final moments were caught on chilling video.

The 45-year-old victim, Pablo Criollo, was walking home from dinner along Kearny Avenue in Harrison, NJ, Saturday evening when an arrow suddenly pierced his back.

Pablo Criollo, 45, was fatally shot in the back with an arrow while walking home on Saturday evening.

The sound of a bow snapping at the same moment was captured on surveillance footage from a nearby business on the bustling street.

Criollo reached to feel his back before he staggered towards a nearby staircase railing and collapsed, according to the jarring footage obtained by NBC 4 New York.

The father was rushed to University Hospital in Newark, where he was pronounced dead, according to a press release from the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.

His alleged killer, 44-year-old Oscar Feijoo, fled the scene, but was tracked down by law enforcement later that evening.

When cops tried to reach him at his two-story residence on the same street where Criollo was killed, Feijoo barricaded himself inside, according to the prosecutor’s office.

A regional SWAT team was called in to negotiate with Feijoo. While he was inside the home, he allegedly set several fires, and eventually emerged Sunday afternoon — armed to the teeth with knives and covered in soot.

Feijoo was taken into custody just before 1 p.m. after a brief standoff with cops.

Now, his victim’s widow is trying to pick up the pieces while caring for their young daughter, who is struggling to wrap her head around her father’s absence.

“Every morning, my daughter is asking me about her father, what time he will come home,” Paula Amez told NBC 4 New York.

Feijoo was charged with murder, aggravated arson and criminal weapons possession, though the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office noted additional charges are expected.

Prosecutors haven’t revealed a potential motive for the attack. It’s doesn’t appear Feijoo and Criollo knew each other.

Feijoo’s neighbors told the outlet that he appeared unstable and “looked like a devil” long before the devastating attack that’s rocking their sleepy town.

“The way he was looking is like a devil person,” neighbor Cristina Pacheco said.
