Big problems come in small packages.
A North Carolina man with the “world’s smallest penis” has revealed some of the biggest problems he faces being not so well-endowed, including maintaining a sexual relationship. He spilled the beans on his wee willy issues in a resurfaced interview with IGV Official that’s gone viral.
“I’m still not sure that I have yet fully come to terms with having a micropenis,” Michael Phillips, 36, told the outlet.
His miniature manhood measures just under an inch, putting him well within the threshold for a rare medical condition called a “micropenis.”
This affliction is defined as an “atypically small penis” — measuring 3.67 inches or less — that’s discovered in infancy or early childhood,” according to the Cleveland Clinic.
Affecting just 0.6% of the global population, the condition is “usually the result of a fetal testosterone deficiency.”
As a child, Phillips initially thought he was just smaller than average and hoped he was simply a late bloomer whose manhood would eventually catch up to him.
That day never came and the Southerner has faced a host of issues due to his fun-size phallus.
“The biggest challenges I’ve faced [are] having a sexual relationship and still being a virgin and being able to talk about it openly because of how embarrassing of a topic it is,” lamented Phillips.
He recounted one mortifying incident in high school where a girl saw his tiny tallwacker and laughed at him, putting him off pursuing dating and relationships for a long time.
“I have had a couple experiences of having sex and wasn’t able to get it in and everything,” Phillips told the Sun. “From there I just stopped trying to date and lost interest in it.”
Frustrated over coming up short in the boudoir, the poor fellow went to the doctor, where he learned of his medical condition.
Surprisingly, this made having a micropenis easier to swallow.
“I think the biggest misconception is that if a guy has a small penis, he just has a small penis, and not that there may be a medical thing going on,” said Phillips. “More people need to be aware that there is a medical condition called micropenis.”
He is now using his condition to help others comes to terms with the the affliction, which he feels is woefully underrepresented in media.
“You can choose to be happy just being here in this great world we live in,” Phillips urged. “Find people you are confident in sharing your problem with, and they might surprise you with how understanding and accepting they are.”
Phillips said that there might even be a positive to his one-in-wonder in this regard.
“It wasn’t until joking about being a Guinness World Record holder that I realized I might actually have the world’s smallest,” he said. “If I could go for it, I would – I think it could help bring more awareness.”
