Mayor Eric Adams whipped out a cigar as he boasted about downing Scotch on a recent trip out of the country and made clear he won’t miss his current gig Tuesday.
“Someone asked me when I was sitting down, just chatting they said, ‘Are you gonna be miss being mayor?’” he said about his travels to the country of Georgia in response to a Daily News question. “I said, ‘I’m good.’”
Hizzoner, who was elected as a Democrat, will leave office in less than two weeks after he dropped an independent reelection bid in the face of abysmal polling numbers and a depleted donor pool.

Adams, 65, has spent the last stretch of four-year term globetrotting to different nations, including a most recent excursion that took him to Mexico and then Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
Adams toured The Telegraph Hotel and helped unveil a New York City suite, according to social media photos posted by the hotel.
But Adams was back in the Big Apple Tuesday to celebrate with Gov. Kathy Hochul at a ceremonial groundbreaking of the Science Park and Research Campus in Kips Bay.
Following the event, Adams showed off a cigar he had while working the room, according to video from the Daily News.
“Had a lot of fun, you know smoked a few cigars, had some single malt and met some good people,” he said in response to a question about his trip.
Before Adams’ recent roughly week-long jaunt, he was out of the country last month for almost nine full days – which would have made Public Advocate Jumaane Williams the acting mayor.
During that trip, he swung by Israel, Albania and Uzbekistan before returning just in time to keep Williams away from temporary power.

Since Adams dropped his bid for mayor in September, he has insisted he can’t wait to move on to the next chapter.
He claimed on Election Day he had to be “stuck on stupid” to want to be mayor for another four years.
His re-election chances started to dissolve last year when he was federally indicted on corruption charges under the Biden administration.
But the case was dropped when President Trump took office, with Adams facing accusations he and the GOP leader struck a deal to stop the prosecution.
Adams has steadfastly denied wrongdoing in the corruption case and insisted he had no quid pro quo with Trump. But he skipped a Democratic Party primary that saw Zohran Mamdani emerge as the winner over a crowded slate.
Mamdani is set to take office on Jan. 1.
