Cops were called to Rob and Michele Reiner’s home numerous times in years leading up to murders

Police were reportedly called at least six times to Rob and Michele Singer Reiner’s home over the years, dating back to 2013.

Cops were called to the Reiners’ home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles in 2013, 2014, 2017, twice in 2019, and on Dec. 14 — the day they were killed — according to LAPD records obtained by the Daily Mail.

A welfare check occurred on Aug. 4, 2013 at 3.31 a.m., and another welfare check was called in at 9:51 p.m. on Feb. 25, 2019, the outlet reported.

A more alarming call reportedly occurred on May 5, 2017 at 4.04 p.m. for a battery of family violence investigation, and on Sept. 27, 2019, police were called at 4.24 p.m. for a mental health-related check on a male subject.

Rob and Michele were found by their 28-year-old daughter, Romy Reiner, stabbed to death in their home.

Their son Nick, 32, was arrested on Dec. 14 in connection with the deaths of his famous parents and was later charged with two counts of first degree murder.

Nick has been open about his struggles with drug addiction over the years, with his first stint in rehab at the age of 15.

“I was homeless in Maine. I was homeless in New Jersey. I was homeless in Texas,” Nick told People in a 2016 interview, describing his experience being in and out of shelters after refusing to go back to rehab for his drug addiction.

“I spent nights on the street. I spent weeks on the street. It was not fun,” he added.

Nick co-wrote his semi-autobiographical 2015 film called “Being Charlie”about his almost 20 visits to rehab.

During his 2018 appearance on the “Dopey” podcast, he revealed that he once “destroyed” his parents’ guest house during a drug-fueled rage while he was high “on meth.”

But Rob said Nick had been clean for six years in an interview with NPR in September.

Nick was reportedly also diagnosed with schizophrenia before the death of his parents, and the medications he was taking were allegedly making him act “erratic and dangerous,” TMZ reported.

Sources told the outlet that Nick was under the care of a psychiatrist for mental illness, claiming that his behavior had become “alarming” in the weeks leading up to his parents’ stabbing deaths.

About a month before the killings, doctors reportedly changed Nick’s meds, at which point he became “out of his head.”

According to the death certificates released by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health on Dec. 23, Rob and Michele died within “minutes” of receiving “multiple sharp force injuries”with a “knife, by another.”

Nick is due back in court on Jan. 7 for his arraignment.
