“Just when we hit rock bottom is when we can laugh the hardest. And I think that that’s not unique to me,” she added. “I think that’s a Jewish characteristic.”

The “Kinda Pregnant” actress, 44, made the comments while reflecting on her love for the Jewish festival of lights.

“I love Hanukkah. I was always really excited about it. Every time we light the candles, I feel like we’ve won,” Schumer said. “Jewish pride is the only way to fight against antisemitism.”

Schumer also shared a cryptic quote to her Instagram Story about the “marriage of friends” Sunday night.

“My life is filled with the souls of women I love,” the quote by Hannah Rosenberg reads.

“The ones who make my belly ache from laughter, the ones who catch my tears. Who show up on my doorstep to celebrate and grieve, who stand up for me when I put myself down.”

The poetic passage touched on the beauty of “a marriage without a wedding.”

“If you have these women, remember: the soulmate is a wonderful thought but look how beautiful these love stories are. Look how they make you full,” the quote concludes.

Schumer confirmed that she and Fischer, 45, were ending their marriage after seven years earlier this month.

“Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” she wrote in a statement on Dec. 12.

“We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son,” she said, referring to their 6-year-old child, Gene.

“We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time,” she said.

Schumer denied that their split had anything to do with her recent weight lossand said that things ended amicably and with “respect.”

In the weeks leading up to the announcement, the stand-up star sparked breakup speculation after she was seen without her wedding ringin a snap where she showed off her dramatic weight loss.

A source told Page Six at the time that there was no way she and the chef would reconcile.

“They’ve been having issues for ages, and my understanding is all they are doing now is working out a conscious uncoupling plan,” the insider shared.

“There is zero chance of salvaging the marriage… but Amy also wants to have the most amicable co-parenting relationship possible with Chris, so they are sorting out what will work best.”

The estranged couple secretly tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed their only child a year later.
