What Worries You Lately? We Want to Know.

It’s normal to fret every once in a while, but new research suggests that people are worrying more than usual.

This fall, Gallup released a report titled “State of the World’s Emotional Health,” which drew from 145,000 interviews conducted across 144 countries in 2024.

The top concern? Worry, followed closely by stress.

Nearly four in 10 adults worldwide reported experiencing a lot of worry or stress the day before they were surveyed, the report said, indicating that more people are experiencing high levels of negative emotions than a decade ago.

Surveys conducted this year in the United States show that people are worrying primarily about things like the future of the nation, the condition of the economy and the spread of misinformation.

We’re curious to know: Are you worried? And if so, what are your biggest concerns? How do you cope?

Your answers might be included in a future article.
