A tearful Alix Earle spoke out for the first time about her “difficult” split from Braxton Berrios.
“Braxton and I are no longer together,” she told her more than 8 million TikTok followers on Saturday.
“We have been doing long distance since, basically, June and we haven’t got to see each other that often. It’s just been really difficult for me,” the influencer added.
Earle, who just starred on Season 34 of “Dancing With the Stars,” said she “really liked” being in Los Angeles while filming the dancing competition and had considered moving there permanently.
“I think that was a scary thing for me to realize because it meant us not being in the same place,” she acknowledged, referring to Berrios, who currently plays for the Houston Texans.
“A part of me also really wants to be focusing on myself right now. I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs,” Earle added.
“I want him to have someone who can be there for him 24/7 and support him. He wasn’t really expecting that of me … I constantly felt guilty.”
Though the internet personality, 24, said Berrios, 30, is her “best friend,” their split has been “really difficult.”
“It just kinda feels like we’re on two different paths right now and it sucks,” she confessed, adding that they are, however, “on good terms.”
“I don’t want anyone to come for him or be mean to him,” she said.
Earle then said she has been “questioning” herself and wasn’t sure if “how [she] feel[s] even makes sense.”
“I think I ultimately just wanted to go with trusting my feelings,” the podcaster said. “This has just been really hard. … It’s not drama. It’s not because he did anything wrong or I did anything wrong. It just didn’t really feel like it was working out, in the moment.”
Earlier this month, a source confirmed to Page Six that Earle and Berrios had split after nearly two years together.
The insider told us that the split was mutual and was “distance-induced.”
This past Thursday, the athlete was slammed online after he seemingly poked fun at their breakup.
“What did I miss?” Berrios wrote in the caption alongside several images showing him walking by himself and alongside his Texans teammates.
Berrios and Earle were first romantically linked in May 2023 after he called it quits with ex Sophia Culpo a few months before.
The pair hard-launched their romance in October 2023, in honor of the NFL star’s 28th birthday.
