Vice President JD Vance expertly hit back at a photo circulating on social media that purports to show him engaged in a verbal spat with his wife, Usha.
The undated, unverified photo appears to show the veep scowling in a white T-shirt, sitting in a restaurant booth across from his wife of 10 years, her head hanging and her hand resting on her face.

Trump-haters pounced on the photo as evidence of trouble in paradise for the Vances, peppering the comment section with eyeroll-worthy one-liners.
“Looks like things are not so good in Republicanistan,” mused Facebook user Thomas Clay Jr., who posted the picture Dec. 5.
Many commenters speculated that the image appears to be AI-generated.

The vice president turned the tables on the snapshot of questionable origin on Tuesday afternoon, uncorking a scathing one-liner.
“I always wear an undershirt when I go out in public to have a fight loudly with my wife,” he wrote on X.
The second couple has faced gossip over the state of their marriage since October after the VP embraced late Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika.
In November and December, Usha was photographed without her wedding ring during a pair of events with First Lady Melania Trump.
Usha’s spokesperson explained that as a busy mom, the second lady “does a lot of dishes, gives lots of baths, and forgets her ring sometimes.”
Vance waved off the internet chatter last week during an interview with NBC News, saying they “kind of get a kick out of it.”
