Andy Dick said he was “alive” after he was spotted slumped over in the street from an apparent drug overdose.
The comedian spoke to TMZ by phone Tuesday night, telling the outlet that he was alive and OK, but would not disclose exactly what happened.
Page Six has reached out to Dick for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Earlier that day, the “Andy Dick Show” alum, 59, was hunched over while sitting on concrete stairs outside of a building in Hollywood, Calif., per photos obtained by TMZ.
In one photo, Dick, who was dressed in a tan jacket, black tee, plaid pajama pants and crocs, appeared to be unresponsive as he was slumped over with his glasses on the ground in front of him.
In another snap, Dick was sprawled on his back on the ground as a man stood over him.

Eyewitnesses told the outlet several of Dick’s pals ran over to him and attempted to revive him as others called an ambulance.
TMZ reported Dick was administered a shot of Narcan, a life-saving medication that quickly reverses opioid overdoses.
A rep for the Los Angeles Fire Department told the outlet that Dick was not transported to the hospital.

The “Newsradio” alum has publicly struggled with addiction over the years.
In 2021, Page Six exclusively reported that he launched a podcast, speaking to doctors, therapists, spiritual leaders, and recovery specialists, trying to get him on the right path.
Dick, who is well known for his highly publicized boozy behavior, told relationship therapist Dr. Tammy Nelson he had a “sex addiction” as well.

In 2018, Dick pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor sexual battery after allegedly groping a woman’s buttocks.
The following year, he was charged with groping a driver.
In 2022, Dick was ordered to register as a sex offender after being convicted of sexual battery in 2018.
