The legal guardian of one of the Florida teens accused in the horrific slaying of 14-year-old Danika Troy was busted on drug charges within hours of the murder, which saw Troy lured into the woods, executed and set on fire.
Jana Williams, 36, who cops said “for a time” had custody of teen murder suspect Gabriel Williams, 16, after the death of his mother, was arrested and booked into Santa Rosa County Jail on a probation violation and felony drug possession Dec. 1, court records show.
Cops told The Post that investigators are also looking into whether Gabriel stole his aunt’s handgun and used it to kill Danika.

Jana Williams had been on probation stemming from an arrest for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia in April, and her rap sheet includes a handful of traffic, theft and drug charges from October, 2023.
The fresh charges against Williams lodged by the Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office on Dec. 1 include felony probation violation, felony drug possession, and one misdemeanor each for a moving traffic violation and possession of drug equipment. She’s being held without bond.
A Facebook photo posted in February 2022 shows Williams, her husband and her accused-murderer nephew Gabriel at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando.
“10 years! Can’t believe you’ve put up with me! I love you!” the photo caption, written by Williams’ husband, reads.

Gabriel Williams and Kimahri Blevins, 14, have both been charged with first-degree premeditated murder in Troy’s death, accused of luring the teen into a stand of woods in Pace and shooting her to death before burning her body.
Danika’s mother, Ashley Troy, told The Post Monday the boys convinced her to come with them into the woods under the pretense that Gabriel had a crush on her.
“I’m just left asking why. She just wanted to be in love,” Danika’s anguished mother said.

The teen suspects are being held in juvenile detention without bond.
An inquiry to the Office of the State Attorney in the First Judicial Circuit Court of Florida as to whether they would be charged as adults, or whether the suspects’ parents would face charges, was not answered Monday.
