Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s sexual harassment trial postponed

Blake Lively’s sexual harassment trial against Justin Baldoni has been postponed for two months.

On Tuesday, Judge Lewis J. Liman ruled that the trial, which was initially scheduled to begin on March 9, 2026, was pushed back to May 18 because of his hectic schedule, People reported.

The judge explained in the post-discovery hearing that he has two criminal trials and “as important as this case is … criminal trials take precedent.”

Page Six has reached out to reps for both actors but did not immediately hear back.

Last December, the “Gossip Girl” alum, 38, filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, accusing him of sexually harassing her on the set of “It Ends With Us.”

The “Jane the Virgin” alum denied the claims.

Liman ruled that Baldoni and his Wayfarer Studios production company “have not alleged that Lively is responsible for any statements other than the statements in her [California Civil Rights Department] complaint, which are privileged.”

The judge explained that Baldoni’s lawsuit “alleged that Reynolds and [publicist Leslie] Sloane made additional statements accusing Baldoni of sexual misconduct and that the ‘Times’ made additional statements accusing the Wayfarer Parties of engaging in a smear campaign.”

However, Liman continued, “The Wayfarer Parties have not alleged that Reynolds, Sloane or the ‘Times’ would have seriously doubted these statements were true based on the information available to them, as is required for them to be liable for defamation under applicable law.”

Baldoni and his legal team had an opportunity to amend their complaint; however, last month, the judge entered a final judgment stating that Baldoni and his Wayfarer Studios co-plaintiffs declined to file an amended complaint.

Lively and Baldoni’s next hearing date is slated for Jan. 22 and will include oral arguments on summary judgment.
