Melissa McCarthy flaunted her weight loss transformation as she took on hosting duties for the latest episode of “Saturday Night Live.”
The “Bridesmaids” star, who has been showing off her thinner frame since dropping approximately 95 pounds, wore a black velvet jumpsuit as she returned to “SNL” for the sixth time as host.
After the 55-year-old actress started her monologue, viewers took to X to share their thoughts on her new look.
“I’m really impressed by Melissa’s weight loss progress,” one person wrote, while another added, “So Glad to see Melissa McCarthy Back on the SNL Stage, and She Looks Fabulous!”
“Melissa mccarthy looks so good on snl rn,” a third viewer wrote.
“Melissa McCarthy looks GOOD!!!! And remains the modern queen of physical comedy, we love to see it,” another added.
“MELISSA MCCARTHY LOOKS SOOOOO GOOD JESUS CHRIST!” an additional viewer penned.
The “Spy” star’s appearance on “SNL” comes several months after she sparked Ozempic speculation.
In April, she shared a snap of herself and choreographer Adam Shankman outside of the Center Theater Group Gala as she wore a pastel tulle dress with a matching blazer. Barbra Streisand, 83, then responded to the stunning photo in the comments, writing, “Give him my regards did you take Ozempic?”
The “Way We Were” star quickly deleted her comment after fans harshly weighed in. McCarthy, however, didn’t seem to mind the inquiry.
“I think Barbra is a treasure — and I love her,” the “Tammy” star told paparazzi when asked about Streisand’s remark.
Streisand also later clarified that her question was meant to be a “compliment.”
McCarthy has been open about her body image over the years, admitting she has been “every size on the planet.”
The “Gilmore Girls” star has even attempted an all-liquid diet, losing 70 pounds in the process. However, she claimed she’d “never” try it again.
She also once lost 50 pounds by simply reshaping the way she thinks, telling Life & Style at the time, “I truly stopped worrying about it.”
“I think there’s something to kinda loosening up and not being so nervous and rigid about it that, bizarrely, has worked.”
Her recent weight loss is estimated to be anywhere from 75 pounds to 95 pounds, according to the Daily Mail.
