Maxx is pinching pennies.
Miley Cyrus joked that her engagement ring from Maxx Morando was a “Black Friday deal.”
During her appearance on Thursday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” host Jimmy Kimmel congratulated the singer on her recent engagement.

“Your fiancé, I wonder if he realizes — Maxx is your fiancé — if he waited like, three weeks so he wouldn’t have to come up with a Christmas gift,” the host joked.
However, Cyrus kept the joke going as she flashed her ring and said, “This was [a] Black Friday deal, baby.”
The 33-year-old quickly clarified that it wasn’t, “but he was smart that way.”
“It might have been. I’m not sure,” she shrugged.

On Dec. 2, Page Six broke the news that Cyrus was engaged after she attended the world premiere for “Avatar: Fire and Ash” with a sparkler on her finger.
Jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche was confirmed by her rep, Francesca Consulting, to have custom-made the 14-carat gold ring.
Shortly after the couple stepped out together on the red carpet, Maxx’s dad, Dan Morando, shared a congratulatory post on his social media — further confirming the news.

The “Flowers” singer later opened up about her engagement on “Good Morning America,” revealing the drummer proposed during a recent trip to Asia.
“I am not easy to surprise because I love to control every situation, and I had completely surrendered,” she said during the interview.
“And I’m telling you, I was so, so surprised,” Cyrus added before praising her fiancé, 27, for doing “good” with the ring choice.

Cyrus — who was previously married to Liam Hemsworth from 2018 to 2020 — began dating Morando in 2021 after the two were set up on a blind date.
They confirmed their relationship a year later when they were spotted making out in Los Angeles. By February 2024, People reported that the couple was living together.
“Everyone loves Maxx. He’s a great guy,” an insider told the outlet. “She is very happy with him. He’s private and doesn’t like being in the press. It’s been good for her.”
