Teen left paralyzed by stray bullet at NYC football game: cops, sources

A 16-year-old boy was struck by a stray bullet and left paralyzed when gunfire erupted during a Brooklyn football game over the weekend, cops and sources said.

The teen – who was not the intended target – was shot in the back around 4:15 p.m. Sunday during a game at Avenue J and East 16th Street in Midwood, authorities and sources said.

He was taken to Maimonides Medical Center, where his injuries are considered non-life-threatening – but the errant slug left him paralyzed, the sources said.

Two suspects, last seen wearing black track suits and face masks, fled the scene and had not been caught by Tuesday, cops and sources said.

Seven shell casings were recovered at the scene, and a gun was found about a block away, according to the sources.

It remains unclear whether the wounded teen was part of the football game or if he was watching on the sidelines.
