Zarna Garg and Linsey Davis Talk Wonder Woman on the Way to Power 100

On November 4, 2025, women from across industries met in midtown Manhattan to connect over lunch and celebrate the power of female leadership. Comedian Zarna Garg and her COO (and daughter) Zoya Garg took an Uber to the event from uptown, while news anchor Linsey Davis and The Looker Senior Editor Sam Escobar traveled from downtown.

Playing to the theme of the event, we asked both cars to name a fictional female character that inspired their leadership styles. Coincidentally, though not surprisingly, both Zarna Garg and Linsey Davis chose Wonder Woman. Davis talked about how balancing her personal and professional lives felt like putting on a cape every day—like she could do the impossible. Garg simply explained, “[Wonder Woman] looks good, and she gets sh*t done.”

Both groups landed at the venue to meet the 96 other guests in attendance. The Daily Beast’s Power 100 happens biannually in New York City and Los Angeles.
