On Monday, Dec. 1, Netflix released the trailer for the upcoming docuseries “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” about the disgraced music mogul.

The four part docuseries is produced by Combs’ longtime rival, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, 50, and directed by Alexandria Stapleton.

Per Netflix, it is “a staggering examination of the media mogul, music legend and convicted offender.”

The series will include interviews with jurors who participated in Combs’ trial. In Sept. 2024, Diddy, 56, was arrested and charged with racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Combs pleaded not guilty, and was acquitted on racketeering and sex trafficking charges and found guilty of lesser prostitution charges on July 2.

The music mogul was initially expected to finish serving time at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institute in New Jersey on May 8, 2028.

However, on Nov. 12, Page Six reported his release has been pushed to June 4, 2028 due to allegedly violating multiple rules.

The trailer contains footage of Diddy six days before his Sept. 2024 arrest.

On the phone, he can be seen saying, “We need to find someone who will work with us who has worked in the dirtiest of dirty businesses. We are losing.”

His voice can also be heard saying, “Everything in life you are going to have people that are bad and people that are good. You have to choose your side.”

“When Cassie dropped her lawsuit, I just thought this could go a million different directions,” Stapleton told Tudum. “I wondered how she had the confidence to go out there against a mogul like Sean Combs. As a filmmaker, I instantly knew it was a stress test of whether we’ve changed as a culture, as far as being able to process allegations like this in a fair way.”

She added that she believes the documentary “isn’t just about” Combs, or his alleged victims.

“Ultimately, this story is a mirror [reflecting us] as the public, and what we are saying when we put our celebrities on such a high pedestal.”

Stapleton said,  I hope [this documentary] is a wake-up call for how we idolize people, and to understand that everybody is a human being.”

“Sean Combs: The Reckoning” premieres Dec. 2 on Netflix.
