Biden’s deadly border policy: Letters to the Editor — Dec. 1, 2025

The Issue: The alleged DC terror suspect who came to the United States during the Biden administration.

The targeted murder of a West Virginia National Guard member, and critical wounding of another, by a deranged and demented Afghan national is a vivid example of how much blood former President Joe Biden has on his hands (“He ‘Should have never been’ let in,” Nov. 28).

Thousands of deaths have resulted from him allowing unlimited numbers of criminals from countries all over the world to enter the United States.

Ed Quinlan

New Hyde Park

This vile horror was facilitated by the Biden administration’s haphazard withdrawal from Afghanistan. The attack on the troops is an example of the harsh consequences of a devastatingly putrid open-border policy.

How many unsuspecting American citizens have been murdered or maimed because of such insane policies?

Denis David

East Rockaway

We now have another American citizen murdered on our soil by another dubiously admitted immigrant. The insanity created by Biden that’s continued by the unhinged left is an abomination.

This maggot who was granted asylum repays our gratitude with murder. What is going on with our country? Yes, we should have compassion for people who are suffering in their native land. But for God’s sake, can we at least have a better vetting process?

Kevin Judge

Naples, Fla.

Biden and then-Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told us that the border was secure. When they were challenged, they said nothing could be done regarding enforcement.

When asked about letting in immigrants from countries loaded with terrorists, they were adamant that everyone was getting vetted.

Then they stood by and watched as American citizens were assaulted, raped and murdered by illegal aliens. These two slobs should be doing time.

Jake McNicholas

Whitestone

It was a somber Thanksgiving this year for the families of two Guardsmen attacked in DC.

The Democrats who are against stationing National Guard troops in major US cities now see the true meaning of service to the United States of America.

The Issue: The cases against former FBI director James Comey and New York AG Letitia James

How could one biased, liberal judge overrule the Justice Department’s indictments against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James on the grounds that US Attorney Lindsey Halligan was improperly appointed to her position (“Comey, Tish cases tossed,” Nov. 25)?

Where was this sad excuse for a judge when Jack Smith was improperly appointed to prosecute President Trump? What a double standard.

Mary Ann Pizzi

East Hanover, NJ

It looks as though it was amateur hour at Justice as Attorney General Pam Bondi fumbled the ball, resulting in the dismissal of the cases against James Comey and Letitia James.

They’re probably having a celebratory dance in the end zone, as the coach contemplates swapping out his “quarterback” (if there’s a rematch).

Michael Headley

Brooklyn

It certainly appears that James Comey and Letitia James won their cases without going to trial. Even though an appeal is likely, let’s just say this ain’t going nowhere.

Comey’s now a free man, but the case against James could continue after an appeal process. The score reads Comey: One, Trump: Zero.

Waiting too long to file this case and selecting an improper prosecutor is on the inept Pam Bondi.
