Aaron Rodgers will play Sunday through an injury that has been simply listed as “left wrist” on the Steelers’ injury report.
As it turns out, that wrist contains multiple fractures.
Rodgers will play Sunday through “at least three fractures” in the wrist on his non-throwing arm, according to NFL Network. Testing has not shown that surgery has been needed, so Rodgers will be under center in Pittsburgh against the Bills in a game that could have playoff implications.
The former Jets QB had missed a game and a half since suffering the fractures late in the second quarter in a game against the Bengals in Week 11. He missed the second half of that victory, then was limited in practice leading up to last Sunday’s matchup in Chicago.
Rodgers ultimately was inactive and watched a Mason Rudolph-led offense fall to the Bears.
This week, Rodgers did not practice Wednesday but was a full participant Thursday and Friday.
“He was a full participant today with no designation for the game,” coach Mike Tomlin told reporters Friday. “So, it’s all systems go.”

The Steelers would love to gain some separation on the Ravens, whom they play next week and in Week 18.
Rodgers playing well is their best bet.
In his 21st NFL season, the 41-year-old owns his best passer rating (97.7) since 2021 while completing 66.4 percent of his passes for 1,969 yards, 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
