Boys’ soccer final Top 10: Maryland champion Leonardtown finishes No. 1

For the first time since 2019, a Maryland public school leads our final boys’ soccer rankings of the fall. After beating Whitman, 1-0, in the Maryland Class 4A final, Leonardtown closes the season in the top spot.

“Just immense pride in this group and these guys,” Coach Luke Kokolios said after the final. “I think honestly this state title is kind of what this group deserves based on what they’ve done.”

Joining the Raiders in the top five are Maryland champ Glenelg, D.C. state winner Washington International School and the two finalists from the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference tournament.
