Donald Trump called for the execution of his political enemies in a series of chilling online posts Thursday.
Trump, 79, said a group of Democrats should be punished with the death penalty after they urged U.S. service members to refuse illegal orders from the president.
“SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!” he wrote on TruthSocial.
He also reposted a supporter’s message calling for their hanging.
“HANG THEM GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD !!” the post reads.

The Democrats’ video, released Tuesday, urges U.S. troops and intelligence officers to reject any unlawful commands from Trump should he return to office for a third term.
The six lawmakers—including Sens. Elissa Slotkin of Michigan and Mark Kelly of Arizona, and Reps. Maggie Goodlander, Jason Crow, Chris Deluzio, and Chrissy Houlahan—remind servicemembers that their oath is to the Constitution, not the president.
By Thursday, a fuming Stephen Miller accused the Democrats of stoking “insurrection” and demanded the six lawmakers “resign in disgrace.”
