Erika Kirk fights back tears in her first interview since the assassination of her husband, conservative activist Charlie Kirk, during a preview aired Friday on Fox News Channel’s “Jesse Watters Primetime.”

In the clip, Watters played a video of Charlie discussing Turning Point USA, the organization he founded to promote conservative student activism.

“Wow, he looks so good,” Erika said as she watched. “Sorry, guys, just give me a second. It’s the longest video I’ve watched of him.”

Watters, who also grew teary during the segment, told her that Charlie “was on a mission to save Western civilization” and asked whether she knew that was “what you signed up for.”

“You know, well, no, I didn’t sign up for anything,” Erika replied. “I just married the love of my life.”

The interview marks Erika Kirk’s first televised sit-down since her 31-year-old husband was fatally shot at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.

Tyler Robinson, 22, of Utah, has been charged with first-degree murder in the killing.

Kirk founded Turning Point USA in 2012 and became a key figure in the MAGA movement, hosting a popular podcast and speaking at Republican events nationwide.

The emotional sit-down with host Jesse Watters will air in full on Wednesday, followed by an extended multi-part docuseries on Fox Nation two days later.

Fox News announced the interview earlier this week, saying that it would cover “the impactful legacy that Charlie left on the nation, the power of faith in their lives, the timeline of what happened the day he was killed, and the future of Turning Point USA.”

Fox News is owned by Fox Corp, sister company to The Post’s corporate parent News Corp.

The segment will be followed by a Fox Nation documentary series, “This Is the Turning Point,” featuring behind-the-scenes footage of Erika Kirk as she assumed leadership of her husband’s student movement.

The grieving widow appeared on stage at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) on Wednesday night before a sold-out crowd that came out to see her first Turning Point USA campus appearance since her husband’s murder.

The event was marked by a video tribute to Charlie Kirk, which naturally elicited an emotional reaction from Erika before she took the microphone.

“It’s hard not to cry after watching,” she said.

“I haven’t seen that … that video since that day happened.”

“Being on campus right now for me is a spiritual reclaiming of territory,” she added.

“There is a lot of symbolism in today. It’s Wednesday, seven weeks. And the more that I am coming to grips with the permanency of this nightmare, the more that I am starting to realize and witness that the enemy, he doesn’t want you.

“He wants your territory. He wants your influence. And I could just hear Charlie in my heart. I could just hear him say, ‘Go reclaim that territory, babe. Go — the battles that God’s love conquers.’ And that’s why I’m here today,” she added.
