Security firm CEO Robert Tucker will be named the next commissioner of the FDNY on Monday, sources told The Post Sunday night.
Tucker, who is also the chairman of security giant T&M, is expected to replace Laura Kavanagh after she stepped down earlier this month.
Tucker, who was widely seen as a top contender for the job, also sits on the board of the FDNY Foundation and is involved in other philanthropic efforts including with the New York City Police Foundation.
Kavanagh left the job after multiple controversies and amid tension within the department over her leadership.
