Mamie Laverock continues to recover from a five-story fall last month.
The family of the When Calls the Heart actor shared a new photo of her from the hospital amid her recovery process.
A new Facebook post was shared on Friday, June 7, that shows Laverock’s hand hooked up to an IV and holding a plush toy bear.
Following the accident, Laverock’s family set up a GoFundMe page to help with the medical costs. The family has provided health updates to donors and recently shared Laverock continued in “tremendous pain.”
“Mamie is ‘doing well’ comparatively to when she arrived,” read the update. “Doing well because she has survived these extensive surgeries. She is enduring tremendous pain and continues to not give up.”
The update continued, “We can only hold onto the miracles of each day and continue to thank everyone for their prayers and marvel at the miracles of her story. Our daughter loves her life and loves her family and is fighting hard everyday.”
Laverock is known for her role as Rosaleen Sullivan in Hallmark Channel’s When Calls the Heart. The actor had been on life support after falling five stories from a balcony walkway.
“We are deeply saddened to report that on May 26th, Mamie, who has been in intensive treatment for the past two weeks, was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories,” the family shared. “She sustained life threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support.”
Hallmark Media shared a statement following the incident saying, “We are deeply saddened to hear the news about Mamie. As a beloved member of our When Calls the Heart community, we wish her and her family peace, comfort, and many prayers during this difficult time.”
