For the third time this season, the Seattle Seahawks are playing the San Francisco 49ers.
This weekend, the stakes are a bit higher, though.
On Saturday, Jan. 17, the NFC West rivals meet in a do-or-die, winner-takes-all Divisional Round game at Lumen Field.
If you’d like to be there to catch Sam Darnold take on Brock Purdy one final time in 2025-26, tickets are available for the cutthroat contest.
Based on our findings, our team found that the cheapest tickets across the primary and secondary market on sites like Ticketmaster and StubHub were $535.50 including fees on Ticketmaster at the time of publication.
100-level seats start at $660.45 including fees on Ticketmaster.
As fans may recall, these two clubs met in the final week of the regular season on Saturday, Jan. 3. Seattle won 13-3 and clinched the division in the process.
“They’re a heck of a team,” Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald told NBC Sports after finding out they’d be meeting the Niners again the postseason.
“We’ve got to play great situational football. They’re so good on third down on both sides. The special teams, like the starting field position, were a big part of the last game. So we did a great job taking care of the ball on offense. We attacked it on defense. We got to be able to do that back at Lumen.”
Although Seattle won against San Francisco in their most recent matchup, Kyle Shanahan’s squad clearly has momentum after sneaking past the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card round, capitalizing on a 13-3 fourth quarter to win 23-19.
“Real proud of the guys,” Shanahan said in a postgame conference.

About the Seahawks vs. 49ers matchup
As mentioned above, the divisional rivals met twice in the 2025-26 regular season.
In their first matchup, which kicked off the year, San Fran won on Seattle’s turf by a score of 17-13. Purdy led the way tossing two touchdowns and completing 26 of 35 passes for 277 yards.
Seventeen weeks later, in the season finale, Seattle came out on top on the road with a 13-3 victory that clinched the division and entire NFC.
Will the road trend continue in this playoff matchup?
Draftkings SportsBook claims the home team has a 6.5-point advantage here but only time will tell.
