Jeffrey Epstein received a suspicious phone message from an unidentified individual in 2004 that read “I have a female for him,” a message written down within days of President Donald Trump having reportedly called Epstein amid their bidding war over an expensive Florida property.
The proximity of the two phone messages – hand-written notes put together for Epstein when someone called – was flagged by retired journalism professor and ex-prosecutor Seth Abramson, who on Friday said that the proximity of the two phone calls raised serious questions.
“As a former investigator I’ll say this: tell me that in a week Epstein and Trump were playing phone tag and Trump wanted a big favor from Epstein, Epstein got a call saying someone wanted to get a sex slave to him – and knowing Epstein got slaves from Mar-a-Lago – I’d have QUESTIONS,” Abramson wrote Friday in a social media post on X.
Released as part of the Justice Department’s drop of thousands of Epstein files Friday, the phone message was dated Nov. 8, 2004, and addressed for “J.E.,” an abbreviation of Epstein’s name. The caller’s name was redacted by the DOJ, but the message wasn’t: “I have a female for him,” it reads.
Back in July, The Palm Beach Post reported on phone messages documenting calls from Trump to Epstein in 2004 that were seized during a 2005 police raid on Epstein’s home in Palm Beach, Florida. The messages contained Trump’s name, his phone number, and appear to be dated between Nov. 11 and Nov. 20, which would be just days after the aforementioned phone message from the unidentified individual.
Trump’s apparent calls to Epstein were made amid a tense bidding war between the two over a 43,000-square-foot estate, which Trump eventually won out for more than $41 million.
Trump is not facing any criminal charges related to his past ties with Epstein, nor has he been accused of any wrongdoing.
