Olivia Nuzzi says she ‘fell in love’ with wrong person while talking about RFK Jr. sexting affair

Disgraced political journalist Olivia Nuzzi confessed in a new interview that she “fell in love” with the wrong person while opening up about her digital dalliance with Robert F Kennedy Jr.

“Yeah, I just like fell in love with someone and in the wrong circumstances, in the wrong person,” Nuzzi, 32, said on an episode of The Adam Friedland Show airing Wednesday night.

The former Vanity Fair editor addressed allegations made by her ex-fiance, Ryan Lizza, that she acted as a “political operative” for Kennedy and even helped him kill negative stories.

Political journalist Olivia Nuzzi gave talk show host Adam Friedland President Trump’s phone number to cold-call him during a guest appearance.

“Did you kill stories on behalf of Secretary Kennedy?” host Adam Friedland posed.

“No. A lot of things have been alleged,” Nuzzi replied during a guest appearance amid her scandal-ridden book release.

She also addressed her stance on the Health and Human Services secretary’s skeptical viewpoints on vaccines.

When asked if she believed in the Kennedy scion’s rhetoric, Nuzzi responded, “No.”

“You think it’s dangerous?” Friedland asked.

“Yeah. Some of it, yeah. I also think that there are some good things that he’s done, too, right? Like, I think when it comes to processed foods, diets, pesticides. I thought the work that he did as an environmentalist was important,” she replied.

“But when it comes to, like, you know, degrading trust in the medical profession or when it comes to negatively affecting vaccination rates or sowing confusion about that stuff, or relying on people who are not credible or just not being transparent in government, that’s not good, right?” Nuzzi continued.

Nuzzi also addressed her relationship with Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., stating she fell in love with the “wrong person.”

As Friedland and Nuzzi spoke about her several interactions with President Trump, detailed in her book “American Canto,” released this month, Friedland asked, “You have a number?”

“Yeah, do you want to call him?” Nuzzi responded

“No,” the host quipped, “Could we?”

“I don’t care,” she said.

“All right, I’ll call him,” the host said. “But he’s not gonna pick up from me. Does he pick up? Oh, you said in the book he picks up every call.”

“I don’t really want to give you his number, I feel like that’s not responsible, but … actually, I don’t even care, you can have it,” she said.

Trump’s line kept ringing and was forwarded to voicemail, prompting Friedland to leave a voicemail pitching the president to appear on his talk show.

Friedland left President Trump a voicemail with a pitch to come on his show.

“Hello, Mr. President, it’s Adam Friedland. I’m a talk show host in New York City. I would love to extend an invitation for you to come on the show. I just had Zohran Mamdani, who I know you’re quite fond of, and it’s a kind of intellectual style in the vein of a Dick Cavett talk show,” Friedland said in a voicemail.

“All right, thanks a lot. Mr. President, it is a great honor, and I hope you’re having a good day,” he added.
