A photo of King Charles walking Meghan Markle down the aisle at her royal wedding to Prince Harry is still on display at his London home.
The black and white photo — taken as the “Suits” alum was about to exchange vows with Harry in 2018 at St. George’s Chapel — could be seen in the background in photos from a Christmas party at King Charles and Queen Camilla’s Clarence House on Thursday.
The framed and matted snapshot, encased in a silver frame, sat atop a decorative table alongside a family photo from Prince Louis’ christening in 2018.
That photo includes the infant in the arms of Kate Middleton, alongside Princess Charlotte, Prince George and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The pic was previously spotted at Clarence Housein 2022. A rep for Markle did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
Markle linked arms with her new father-in-law in a tender moment that happened because her father, retired lighting designer Thomas Markle, did not attend the nuptials, citing health issues.
The Markle patriarch expressed regret over missing the widely publicized royal festivities at the time.
“My baby looks beautiful and she looks very happy,” Thomas told TMZ. “I wish I were there and I wish them all my love and all happiness.”
Last week, Thomas had his leg amputatedas he continues to face health issues.
Though Thomas and Meghan’s sister Samantha Markle claimed the “With Love, Meghan” host hadn’t reached out to her father, a spokesperson for Meghan confirmed to Page Six that she had indeed successfully reached out.
“With the support of reliable and trusted contacts, her correspondence is now safely in his hands,” the rep told us in a statement.
In BBC’s “Prince, Son and Heir: Charles at 70,” Prince Harry recalled asking King Charles to do the honor of walking his future wife part of the way down the aisle.
“I asked him to, and I think he knew it was coming, and he immediately said, ‘Yes, of course, I’ll do whatever Meghan needs, and I’m here to support you,’” Harry shared.
“For him that’s a fantastic opportunity to step up and be that support, and you know he’s our father so of course he’s gonna be there for us.”
Harry said he was “grateful” for his father’s assistance — Meghan, now 44, walked halfway down the aisle solo, at which point Charles, now 77, joined her.
When Meghan and King Charles reached the altar, the Duke of Sussex said, “Thank you, pa.”
“You’ve gotta say thank you,” Harry said. “Just because he’s my father that doesn’t mean I can just sort of go, ‘Okay, that’s all, I’ll take it from here.’”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex famously stepped away from their duties as working members of the royal family in 2020 to begin a new life in Montecito, Calif., with the As Ever founder.
The ensuing family rift escalated with the publication of Harry’s bombshell memoir, “Spare,” in 2023.
In September, Prince Harry and his father had a 53-minute meeting at Clarence House, reuniting for the first time in over a year and sparking hope for a reconciliation.
