TIME Recognizes the 2025 Leaders of the Year at ‘A Year in TIME’

Event Will Feature Appearances by TIME’s Entertainer of the Year Leonardo DiCaprio, Athlete of the Year A’ja Wilson, CEO of the Year Neal Mohan, and Breakthrough of the Year KPop Demon Hunters in New York City

Ahead of the announcement of the 2025 TIME Person of the Year on December 11, TIME will host its annual A Year in TIME celebration in New York City, recognizing the leadership, innovation, and cultural impact that defined 2025.

The event will feature keynote conversations with TIME’s Entertainer of the Year, actor and producer Leonardo DiCaprio; Athlete of the Year, WNBA champion A’ja Wilson; and CEO of the Year, Neal Mohan of YouTube, as well as special performances by Rei Ami, Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Kevin Woo from pop culture sensation KPop Demon Hunters, the Breakthrough of the Year.

A Year in TIME is presented by Official Timepiece Rolex, and premier partner American Family Insurance, whose mission is to inspire, protect, and restore dreams. The event is also presented by signature partner Serum Institute of India and supporting partners LaCroix and The Macallan.

“We are proud to celebrate the remarkable individuals and ideas that shaped 2025,” said TIME Chief Executive Officer Jessica Sibley. “A Year in TIME reflects our commitment to recognizing leadership, creativity, and impact across industries and we are thrilled to bring these defining stories to life in collaboration with our partners.”

“TIME’s mission is to tell the stories of the people shaping our world,” said TIME Editor in Chief Sam Jacobs. “A Year in TIME is our opportunity to highlight the leaders who defined 2025 whose influence will continue to shape what comes next.”

The 2025 TIME Person of the Year, recognizing the individual or group who most influenced the world over the past year, will be announced on Time.com on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

This week, TIME named the 2025 CEO, Entertainer, Athlete, and Breakthrough of the Year:

CEO OF THE YEAR – Neal Mohan

ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR – Leonardo DiCaprio

ATHLETE OF THE YEAR – A’ja Wilson

BREAKTHROUGH OF THE YEAR – KPop Demon Hunters
