The Dodgers will celebrate their back-to-back World Series title with a parade in downtown L.A. and an event at Dodger Stadium on Monday, Nov. 3.
The parade will start at 11 a.m. from Temple Street and Broadway, continuing along an approximately 45-minute route west on Temple, south on Grand Avenue, west on 7th Street, and north on Figueroa Street before ending at 5th Street.
Fans are encouraged to gather along Grand Avenue, the longest stretch of the parade route, where members of the Dodgers will travel atop double-decker buses.
Following the parade, a special ticketed event at Dodger Stadium will begin at approximately 12:15 p.m. Fans looking to attend are strongly encouraged to purchase parking with their event ticket as parking will be extremely limited. Tickets can be purchased here.
Attendees to the parade and event are encouraged to use public transportation to arrive at their destination.
“The best way to get to the parade is to go Metro,” city officials said. “Streets surrounding the parade area will have very limited access to ensure safety and accessibility for all those who are attending and participating. Make sure to check the map for street closures and allow ample time to travel Downtown and find parking. Cars parked along the parade route are subject to towing.”
“Once again, the Dodgers have shown the world that Los Angeles is the city of champions,” Mayor Karen Bass said in a statement. “I can’t wait to see the best of Los Angeles on full display at the parade as we celebrate our BACK-TO-BACK World Series champions. I encourage all Dodgers fans to plan ahead for the parade, be prepared and celebrate peacefully, safely and responsibly.”
Tickets for the Dodger Stadium event will go on sale on Nov. 1 at 12 p.m. PST. More information on the parade and stadium event can be found here.
