The adaptation brings to life Kei Urana’s manga, which first debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2022 and follows the story of Rudo, a young boy from the slums of a floating city. Rudo was falsely accused of murder and was cast into the abyss below, a wasteland filled with monstrous creatures. With its gritty urban aesthetics, graffiti-inspired visuals and intense fight sequences, the trailer sets the tone for an action-packed and emotionally charged narrative.
Expanding on the manga’s dystopian themes, the trailer vividly highlights Rudo’s desperate struggle for survival in the abyss.
