The NFL schedule recently came out, and has many fans looking ahead to the upcoming season. But the reveal also had players looking down the line to see when they would be playing in any primetime games.

Cincinnati Bengals star quarterback Joe Burrow made some waves after the schedule came out. The Bengals will be playing the rival Baltimore Ravens in primetime on the road for the fourth straight year, and Burrow isn’t happy about it.

The star expressed his feelings on the matter very clearly.

“Playing in Baltimore for the fourth straight year [in prime time] isn’t ideal,” Burrow said.

Many around the Bengals were hoping to avoid this type of game this year. But the team will be heading to Baltimore on Thanksgiving night, offering some interesting football on the holiday.

Well, Ravens star tight end Isaiah Likely has now responded to the complaints of Burrow.

“I seen the little clip of Joe saying that he wants the game in Cincinnati out there on prime time,” Likely said on “Up & Adams.” “I mean — I don’t even know what their stadium is called. I just know when you come to The Bank, in prime time television, that’s just somewhere nobody else wants to be.”

Baltimore is one of the more intimidating home teams across the NFL, so it makes sense why the NFL would want primetime games to be played there. The Ravens defend their home field very well, and it takes a lot for a team to come away with a win in the building.

The Bengals and Ravens have been one of the more intriguing rivalries over the past few years, with each side taking shots at one another. Even last year when the Ravens took both games from Cincinnati, the two teams combined for 148 points between the two sides.

Entering this year, these comments from Likely are sure to help fuel the rivalry even more. Burrow tends to take talk like this and use it as motivation heading into games.

The Thanksgiving meeting will mark the first matchup of the year between the two sides, and there could be fireworks on the field. Both Cincinnati and Baltimore feel that they can compete for a Super Bowl next season, giving this game some extra fun.
