Gisele Bündchen is skipping fashion’s biggest night.
The Brazilian supermodel, 44, who welcomed her third child — the first with boyfriend Joaquim Valente — in early February, reportedly declined an invitation to the Met Gala 2025.
Bündchen will instead be spending time with her newborn and partner in Miami, according to TMZ.
Some fans were hoping that the Met Gala 2025 would mark Bündchen and Valente’s red carpet debut — however, it seems that won’t be the case.
The model’s skipped the 2024 event and her last Met Gala sighting was in 2023 when she attended the star-studded event solo after filing for divorce from ex-husband Tom Brady the year prior.
Bündchen looked ethereal in a white silk gown with sequins underneath a coordinating feather cape, both vintage Chanel designs by Karl Lagerfeld, whom was honored at the event shortly after his death.
She previously donned the number in 2007 for an editorial with the late designer.
Prior to 2023, Bündchen hadn’t been seen at the Met Gala since 2019, when she was joined by Brady, with whom she shares son Benjamin Rein, 15, and daughter Vivian Lake, 12, on the red carpet.
During the couple’s relationship, they were regulars at the annual event, attending nearly every year between 2008 and 2019.
Perhaps she’ll be back on the Met red carpet in 2026.
