Hezbollah says it has launched “dozens” of rockets, as fears grow that a full-scale war with Israel could soon break out following the assassination of Hamas’ political leader in Tehran.
The Iran-backed group said it was acting in response to Israel’s attacks on Kfar Kela and Deir Siriane in Lebanon which, it said, had injured civilians there.
It comes amid reports that 50 rockets have been fired from southern Lebanon towards upper Galilee alone, according to Israeli media.
Video footage revealed Israel’s Iron Dome defence system being activated.
