Matt Damon brought all of his daughters—plus his mom—along to the premiere of his new movie, The Instigators, which is a good reminder that while he is still, you know, Matt Damon, he’s also just somebody’s dad.
On July 31, Damon was joined on the carpet not just by his wife, Luciana Damon, but also their three teenage daughters, Luciana’s oldest daughter, and Damon’s mom, Nancy Carlsson-Paige. Eighteen-year-old Isabella, 15-year-old Gia, and 13-year-old Stella, joined their parents and stepsister Alexia Barroso, 24, for a rare group shot all together.
Perhaps part of the reason the Damons decided to make this premiere a family affair is the fact that Luciana Damon is a producer on the film, so the couple got to work on it together. “[Luciana] actually produced this one. So she was very actively involved in this one, but I just trust her,” Damon told People on the red carpet.
The last time Matt Damon brought his daughters to a movie premiere was almost exactly a year earlier, when the girls (minus Isabella) went to the Oppenheimer premiere. And before that, the three youngest girls went with their parents to the premiere of Air in March of 2023.
And to think my dad only ever took us to the zoo.
