EXCLUSIVE: Veteran manager Leonard Torgan, formerly of Cohn Torgan management, has joined forces with Brett Carducci as a partner in his new shingle, Aligned Entertainment Group, which will both manage and produce projects alongside clients.
Joining Leonard at Aligned are longtime clients Russell Hornsby (BMF), Ash Zukerman (Succession), Tequan Richmond (Everybody Hates Chris), Samm Levine (Freaks and Geeks), David Rogers (Abbott Elementary), Kenric Green (The Walking Dead) and Hamish Michael (One More Shot), among others. They’re now part of a roster which also includes the likes of Ken Jeong (The Hangover, The Masked Singer), Omar J. Dorsey (Bookie) and Danielle Pinnock (Ghosts).
In addition to Torgan and Carducci, who founded the prior iteration of Aligned in 2009, others participating in the new venture include managers Frank Gonzales and Nikki Daurio.
Serving as a Partner at Cohn Torgan Management for the last 12 years, Torgan previously worked at The Collective and Leverage Management, where he produced HBO’s In Treatment. Prior to that, he established himself as a manager at 3 Arts Entertainment, having begun his career in the agent trainee program at UTA.
Working in entertainment for over 20 years, Carducci began his career at Gersh, later working for several boutique agencies before founding Aligned Entertainment, a company handling a diverse group of actors in film, television and commercial endorsements. Along with managing artists, he’s been a producer on a handful of film and TV projects showcased on such platforms as Netflix, ESPN, and Prime Video. Originally from outside Philadelphia, he graduated from USC with a major in Anthropology and a minor in Film and Television.
Joining Aligned, where he serves as Partner, in 2009, Gonzales started his career working on In Living Color on Fox. He then moved into talent representation at The Agency, where he represented film and TV talent, as well as stand-up comics. He earned his B.A. from from the University of Rochester.
Daurio came to Aligned Entertainment in 2022, after working as an associate producer on projects like the award-winning film Sunday’s Child and the Teen Choice Awards. As a disabled and LGBTQ-identifying woman, her focus is on championing marginalized clients and projects. She graduated from Harvard University with a major in Cognitive Neuroscience and Evolutionary Psychology, originally using that expertise to work as a founder and CEO of her 501(c)3 suicide prevention non-profit Green Ribbon Club.
