Well, this isn’t paper.
Although the traditional 1-year anniversary gift for marriage is paper, Jennifer Lopez opted to celebrate her and Ben Affleck’s milestone with a romantic new song.
In her rarely sent newsletter, “On the JLo,” the “Mother” star shared the lyrics to “Midnight Trip to Vegas” — an homage to her and Affleck’s impromptu Sin City nuptials.
She also included a video of herself appearing make-up free and singing along to a verse of the new tune that describes how they decided to marry in Vegas.
“Then you whispered in my ear / Said let’s get out of here / We can disappear tonight,” says Lopez.
“What about a / Midnight trip to Vegas / Just me and you baby / Throw the kids in the back / Of the pink Cadillac / And us in the bathroom changing,” she continues.
“Midnight trip to Vegas / Both our hearts are racin’ / I’ll pick you up late / We don’t have to wait / Yeah let’s do something crazy.”
“Midnight Trip to Vegas” is the first snipped fans have gotten of the “Jenny From the Block” singer’s upcoming album “This is Me… Now” — a successor to her 2002 Affleck-inspired album “This Is Me…Then.”

The new album sent fans into a frenzy when Lopez, 53, revealed that the tracklist included a song titled “Dear Ben pt. ll.”
The July 17, 2022, edition of “On the JLo” provided all of the intimate details of her and 53-year-old Affleck’s Little White Chapel ceremony.
“We barely made it to the little white wedding chapel by midnight,” she revealed. “They graciously stayed open late a few minutes, let us take pictures in a pink Cadillac convertible, evidently once used by the king himself (but if we wanted Elvis himself to show, that cost extra and he was in bed).”
Lopez added that she wore “a dress from an old movie” as they exchanged vows in the “little chapel” and “gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives.”
In addition to sharing the new track, Lopez and Affleck celebrated their anniversary with a Sunday brunch with Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme, and the “Air” star’s son, Samuel.
That night, the couple dined at Giorgio Baldi with Lopez opting for a gorgeous bridal white Valentino minidress.
