Nicolas Cage finally gets to play Dracula in Renfield—coming to Peacock this Friday—and it’s just as weird and delightful as you might expect.
Directed by Chris McKay, with a screenplay by Ryan Ridley, Renfield is a campy, modern-day horror comedy inspired by characters from Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel Dracula. Nicholas Hoult stars as a Renfield, a mild-mannered man who’s had it up to here with his abusive, manipulative boss. It just so happens that his boss is Dracula, the iconic vampire from Transylvania.
Renfield finds comfort in a support group for people in abusive relationships and is empowered to cut himself off from Dracula, who, in addition to being a blood-sucking murderer, is a textbook narcissist. Things get complicated when the mafia stumbles upon Dracula’s lair, and Renfield must team up with the city’s only good cop, Awkwafina, to save the day.
It’s a silly, funny, 90-minute romp of a movie, and it’s perfect to watch on your couch for a night in. Even better? It’s coming to Peacock very soon. Here’s what you need to know about how to watch Renfield on streaming.

You can also currently watch Renfield online by buying the film on digital platforms like Amazon Prime, Vudu, Apple TV, and more. The price may change in the coming weeks, but right now, Renfield is available for $19.99 to buy on most platforms.
WHEN WILL RENFIELD BE ON PEACOCK?
Renfield will begin streaming on Peacock Premium on Friday, June 9. You will need a Peacock Premium subscription in order to watch the movie.
HOW TO WATCH RENFIELD ON PEACOCK:
You can sign up for Peacock Premium to watch Renfield with ads for $4.99 a month, or you can sign up for Peacock Premium Plus to watch Renfield without ads for $9.99 a month. Both tiers will give you access to the movie. However, you will not be able to watch Renfield on the free version of Peacock.
While there used to be a 7-day free trial for Peacock Premium, unfortunately, the streamer has ended its free trial service. So you’ll either need to cough up the cash or get a login from a friend.
WHAT TIME WILL RENFIELD BE ON PEACOCK?
Based on previous Universal theatrical movie releases on Peacock, Renfield should be available to stream on Peacock Premium at 12 a.m. Eastern Time on June 9, or 9 p.m. Pacific Time on June 8. That means if you’re on the west coast, you’ll be able to watch Renfield as early as Thursday night.
