Harry, Meghan Markle to ‘stop writing books, documentaries’ as there’s ‘nothing left to say’: report

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have “nothing left to say.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to stop publishing tell-alls, engaging in sit-down interviews, and taking part in large-scale documentaries in a shocking U-turn, according to a report.

“That period of their life is over — as there is nothing left to say,” a source told The Sun of the exiled couple’s plan to step away from the limelight.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sensationally stepped down as senior members of the royal family in 2021 — a decision that was followed by a permanent move to the US amid their ongoing quest for “privacy.”

Their move sparked several high-publicity projects such as their six-part Netflix documentary, their bombshell sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey, and Harry’s protocol-shattering memoir, “Spare.”

In her chat with Oprah, Markle sensationally revealed that the royal family raised “concerns” with Harry over how dark son Archie’s skin might be.

She also revealed that she was suicidal during her time in the palace, and said her concerns were brushed off by staff who were not willing to help.

Elsewhere, Markle claimed that her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, now the Princess of Wales, made her cry following a row over flower-girl dresses for her 2018 wedding.

For his part, Harry unleashed several attacks on his family since hightailing across the pond, most notably bashing his stepmother Queen Camilla and calling her a “villain.”

They’ve since been criticized and ridiculed for their shocking revelations, with the animated sitcom “South Park” releasing an episode in which a royal couple that depicted the Sussexes were mercilessly mocked.

More recently, the pair’s credibility was thrust into doubt after they claimed to have been involved in a “near catastrophic” paparazzi car chase through Manhattan.

Last month, a spokesperson for the Sussexes claimed Harry, Meghan and her mother, Doria Ragland, were tailed by snappers for 2 hours.

Harry, 38, and Markle left the Ziegfeld Theater in Midtown with Ragland around 9:50 p.m. after an awards ceremony, and said paps were unable to get any shots of them leaving the venue.

Soon after they headed home, a rep for the pair said the ordeal happened “at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi.”

“This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians and two NYPD officers,” Harry’s rep stated.

“While being a public figure comes with a level of interest from the public, it should never come at the cost of anyone’s safety.”

“Dissemination of these images, given the ways in which they were obtained, encourages a highly intrusive practice that is dangerous to all involved,” the statement concluded.

The photo agency in question, Backgrid USA, pushed back at the claims, saying its snappers “had no intention of causing any distress or harm, as their only tool was their cameras.”

The company refused to hand over footage of the ordeal from its photographers after the couple demanded it.
